Worldwide, Saint Barbara is the Patron Saint of Gunners.
Saint Barbara’s relics are venerated at St Vladimir Cathedral in Kiev, Ukraine.
On Saint Barbara’s Day, as Gunners let us pause, recollect, and celebrate the Artillery Corps professional commitment and excellence, its unique legacy, distinctive traditions, steadfast camaraderie, and admirable Esprit de Corps – vital elements of the moral component of artillery power.
The Artillery Club’s 2022 Saint Barbara’s Day Greetings Card. is based on a 16th century altarpiece of Saint Barbara from the Palazzo Bellomo, Syracuse, Sicily.
