Members of the Artillery Club and the Wider Defence Community

On behalf of the Artillery Club’s Committee, I would like to wish all Gunners, at home & overseas, serving & retired, and our friends in the wider Defence Community, a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
In particular, I would like to thank all those who helped us in 2025, with our numerous activities in Ireland, and our Field Trip to Malta.
This year’s card depicts the main entrance into the Defence Forces Headquarters Officers’ Mess, McKee Barracks, Dublin.
You are encouraged to visit the Artillery Club’s website, artilleryclub.ie which includes photographs and reports of all our 2025 events, and will shortly also provide notifications of our 2026 activities.
As we enter this Christmas period, we think especially of all those deployed on overseas missions in Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Uganda, Kosovo, Germany, Bosnia, France and Italy: (UNIFIL, UNDOF, UNTSO, UNMAS, KFOR, EU BG HQ, EUFOR BiH, EUMAS, and EUNAVFOR Med), and also to those assigned to staff appointments in Brussels, Vienna and New York, with the EU, NATO-PfP, OSCE and UN. With best wishes for successful deployments and postings, and a safe return to Ireland.
