Overview: The Club’s Committee wishes to remind you that the Club’s Field Trip to The West takes place on 22 and 23 June. Participants include Club Members and their guests. The outline programme for the event, which includes a visit on 22 June to the 2 Artillery Regiment in Custume Barracks on route to Galway, is outlined below.
Participants are free to avail of parts of the programme. For example, those residing in Galway may wish to attend the dinner on 22 June and the activities on 23 June, but may not wish to visit Custume Barracks, or avail of hotel accommodation.
The various options are outlined in the attached proforma.
In this context, the Committee particularly encourages those members residing in Athlone, Mullingar and Galway to participate in the event, as appropriate.
Confirmation of Accommodation and Meal Requirements. Members who have yet to advise of their intention to participate in the Field Trip are requested to inform the Trip Coordinator confirming, (as appropriate), hotel booking, lunch requirements in Athlone and Renmore, and dinner requirements in the Hotel.
