On 01 June, 2023,, the Artillery Club hosted a Gala Dinner, with the permission of Brigadier-General Brian Cleary, GOC 1 Brigade,  in the Officers’ Mess, Collins Barracks, Cork marking the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of The Artillery Corps and the 50th Anniversary of the foundation of The Artillery Club.

The Artillery Club salutes gunners of all ranks who have served Ireland with distinction, both at home and overseas, whilst maintaining exceptional operational readiness, unique legacy and solidarity, distinctive customs and traditions, valuable friendship and the bond of camaraderie, since the establishment of the Artillery Corps in 1923.

Since 1973, The Artillery Club continues to support the preservation of the Artillery Corps unique legacy and distinctive traditions, promotes professional excellence, provides a focal point for remembrance and camaraderie, in order to encourage and foster the Corps admirable Esprit de Corps
