The Artillery Club’s Annual Golf Outing took place on 23 August, at the Heritage Golf Resort, Killenard, County Laois. Club members, spouses, partners and guests participated in the golf competition, and later were joined by non-golfers for an enjoyable dinner in the Hotel.
Confined to serving and retired members of the Artillery Corps, the Captain Jack Jones Perpetual Trophy was won by last year’s winner Captain Tom Nolan (Retd). To mark the fifteenth year of competition for the Perpetual Trophy, the Committee provided a keepsake Newbridge Silver Trophy to Captain Nolan (Retd). Commandant Joe Kelly (Retd) received the trophy on behalf of Captain Nolan (Retd).
